This sixth volume in The Heart of Go Discovery Series is a very strange book. It is the record of a series of conversations over meals in restaurants between O Meien and two young reporters who are to create the book based on these interviews. O Meien clearly has no respect for their understanding of his ideas and is depicted as being drunk in much of the book. I do not understand why the Nihon Kiin published this book --perhaps to embarass O Meien. The strange interactions continue throughout the book; in the latter two thirds, however, O does discuss some board positions and offers some ideas about how to understand them.
